Mental Health Credentialing

What is credentialing?

Mental health credentialing with private insurance is a process that verifies a provider’s qualifications and allows them to join an insurance company’s network. Once credentialed, providers can bill that insurance company for services rendered to clients covered by that plan.

This process can be time-intensive and requires attention to detail, as missing or incomplete information can lead to delays. Working with a credentialing specialist can streamline the process, ensuring documentation is complete and applications are submitted accurately for faster approval.

What insurances can you credential?

We offer credentialing services with most private insurance companies, though we do not credential providers with MassHealth.
Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, Optum, Tricare, Tufts

What are your fees?

We offer credentialing services at an affordable flat rate per insurance company.

Can you credential individuals and groups?

We provide credentialing services for both individual providers and group practices, with an additional fee per person in group practices.

What is the process like?

We’ll begin by discussing the ideal insurance companies for credentialing, followed by a contract to confirm mutual compliance. You provide the necessary information, and I handle the entire documentation process, submit the application, and conduct monthly follow-ups until your credentialing is complete.
